Seabrook is a coastal city in southern Texas. It is located 35 miles southeast of Houston in Harris and Chambers counties on the north side of Galveston Bay. According to the United States Census Bureau, there were approximately 13,656 people living in Seabrook in 2016.
Seabrook sits on the former site of the Ritson Morris league which developed to become the Elmwood Plantation. It is named for Seabrook Sydnor, the son of John Sydnor of the Clear Creek Development Company that platted the community in 1900. The first individuals to frequent the community were summer residents. A commuter train, known as the Suburban, transported individuals to the town twice daily. By 1961, Seabrook was an incorporated city with a population of about 6,000 people.

During the months of winter, daytime temperatures range from low to mid-60s and will dip to the mid-40s at night.
